Plats för konst. 2022. Gällivare
Till min skisside har jag har hämtat inspiration från den natur som omger Gällivare. Lågfjällen.
Och den samiska kulturen, som är en vagga för samhället.
Började arbeta utifrån fjäll lanskapet. Omarbeta ett fotografi jag tagit till en fjällkedja.
Det temat blev också fristående tredimensionella skulpturer, bänkar och sittplatser.
Kedjan är ett mönster som återkommer mycket i samiskt ornamentik.
Tänkte också på en Seite som jag sett i fjällvärden. Format som fingrar.
Förstärkte hand formen.Formen för en sittplats eller två.
Vill göra Gällivare centrum till ett inkluderande ställe, en samlingspunkt för invånare och turister
att samlas på. Vill bryta upp citys kvadrater med bekväma organiska former.
Tycker alltid man söker efter en sittplats att vila på, sitta i solen, eller bara samlas runt.
